About Me

Hi I’m Linda

I have tutored a wide range of students, from Year 4 to mature-age uni students, from those wanting to be top of the class to those struggling to pass.

I’m patient and kind, good at explaining things and committed to helping my students achieve their best. I firmly believe there is no such thing as a dumb question.

I grew up in Lismore and did well at school, coming in the top 5% of the state in the HSC. My interest in medical research led me to do a Science degree at uni in Sydney. Chemistry and Biochemistry were my favourite subjects, so I did a lot of those, including an Honours project on some cancer drugs. Later I did a Diploma in Education, and a PhD.

During my career I have worked in hospital and university labs doing research, and I have taught in universities and high schools. Lismore Tutoring has been operating since 2015.

Of all the jobs I have done, tutoring is my favourite. It is definitely the most rewarding.
